At the core of our NOMAD series is a truly portable desktop OCR system with an extremely advanced camera and OCR engine. It reads both script and hand printed characters and uses the same field proven components as the Tritek 88-5 and 91-5. The Nomad eliminates manual encoding and encoding desks and allows for user specified capabilities. In addition, you can use it as a reject processor that adds postnet delivery point barcodes to rejected mail from other OCR sorting machines. Tritek's advanced OCR and mail processing software drives the the Nomad in conjunction with First Logic DRS lookup software for applying delivery point barcodes. The Nomad runs on 120 volt AC.
